Pitch Poster Presentations
Yesterday and today we gave our pitch poster presentations. After each presentation, the audience provided feedback about the presentations. Based on your peer reviews and your own self assessment, what do you think that you need to do in order to give a really great presentation for your TED talk? What are some areas of presenting that you need to improve upon? What do you think that you can do in order to do that? Blog about it!

Research
Today we are going to spend some time researching our topics to get more information for our pitch posters. Search the internet for answers to some of the following questions:
- What is the end goal of your project?
- Who is going to be your mentor? If your mentor is not someone that you personally know, spend some time researching your topic. Is there someone who is an expert on your topic that you can read their articles or watch their videos?
- What are some websites that you are going to use to learn more about your topic?
- What steps will you need to take to achieve your goal?
- What are some possible challenges that you might face over the course of the project? How do you plan to overcome those challenges?
- Besides the script for your TED talk what are some other visuals or props that you might need?
Record any or all of this information on your blog. Remember that your blog posts have to be at least 10 sentences. Pictures or gifs are always nice additions to a blog!
If you have already found the answers to the above questions, then use this time to find out more information about your topic and share that information on your blog.

Project Perusal
Today you will be reading your classmates' blog posts to learn more about their project ideas. You will need to read at least four other people's posts and make a comment or ask a question. Do not make banal (that's an SAT vocabulary word) comments. Read people's posts and make meaningful comments.
You are not limited to your class period. Feel free to look at people's posts from the other class. If you finish before time is officially up, then keep reading blogs. Happy commenting! :)
